Town Hall Meetings

It's Town Hall meeting time! And we're adding a Delegate Assembly to the mix! As you may recall, CONA convened the Delegate Assembly last fall for the first time in years! We're doing it again for our Town Hall meeting on Monday, September 13. The Delegate Assembly is comprised of the designated delegates from each member neighborhood. For those new to CONA, CONA was created as a delegate organization and we have been working to restore this important democratic feature to broaden opportunities for our members to participate in, and shape the future of, this  wonderful community organization.

As always, we will meet at the Downtown (Main) Public Library in the Program Room on the First Floor from 6 pm to 7:40 pm.

Although this meeting is billed as the CONA Delegate Assembly, any one may attend. As always at a a CONA meeting, all are welcome! And, we especially encourage every neighborhood president who is not also the CONA delegate for their neighborhood to attend.

By the way, has your neighborhood paid its CONA dues? If your association has not paid dues for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 (in other words, those that have not written a check to CONA for dues since April 1, 2010), they are now due. You can print the appropriate renewal or new member neighborhood form, fill it out, and  mail it to the address below (it's also on the form).

We look forward to seeing you on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010!

Christic Henry, President
CONA
